Pixel Souls is hard, but it is fair. Here is everything you need to survive long enough to learn the rest.
Watch your stamina
Every action costs stamina. Run out and you cannot block, dodge or attack. Always end a combo with stamina to spare.
Rolls have i-frames
The roll animation is invulnerable for the first frames. Roll into the attack, not away from it.
Parry rewards risk
Frame-perfect parries open bosses up for free hits. Practice on weak enemies first.
Pick the right hero
Pixel Knight is forgiving. Samurai is not. Match the hero to your patience.
